Marketing Manager

Over the past 30 years L&T has become a global player in the medical simulation education market.   It has ambitious plans for further growth in the next 5 years across the globe, through investment in sales and new product development.

The Marketing Manager will create and drive the marketing strategy to support and enable this planned growth.  Working closely with the Commercial Director and Sales Management (UK, USA, Australia and International markets) to ensure synchronized plans to maximize results and revenue.


Manager of a team of 3, the Marketing Manager will manage and lead the team to increase awareness of both the brand and the product range, both on and offline within the healthcare education market across the world, from the Bristol office.


As part of the Commercial team the Marketing Manager will work closely with the Product Management team to launch of new products into the market.


The role is an exciting one within this growing, fast paced business.



  • Marketing strategy development, implementation, and evaluation across all business units in line with business ambitions.
  • Creation and implementation of annual marketing plans into quarterly marketing plans to match sales requirements.
  • Working with the subsidiaries to dovetail into sales and business requirements and support on-going product launches.
  • Monitors and analyses market trends
  • Management of video marketing: creation through to delivery of customer video and demonstrations assets.
  • Full website responsibility for the organic development of the site, maximisation of SEO.
  • Management and review of digital marketing for e-commerce platforms.
  • Ownership of all brand standards and tone of voice for all communications including

social media.

  • Write press releases, copy for marketing materials, advertising and other related materials.
  • Support product launches with promotions, advertising etc..
  • Working internally with Product Development to understand and communicate outwards the key product features and USP’s of all products.
  • Management of L&T brand image at exhibitions and conferences.
  • Plan and manage marketing resources according to agreed budgets.
  • Manage, train and motivate Marketing team.
  • Management external agencies.
  • Copy writing and strategic guidance for internal comms.

  • Strong marketing background with a proven ability to apply knowledge and experience to a smaller company setting.
  • Degree or / and CIM diploma plus extensive business awareness.
  • Experience in writing and delivering marketing strategy.
  • Articulate with high level of attention to detail, good level of English.
  • Ability to understand and disseminate often complex medical issues.
  • Experience in e-commerce.
  • Experience of complex websites.
  • Ability to work cross functionally – from Product Development, through to the front-line Sales Team.
  • Commercial focus – with experience in delivering on ROI, and on-line metric’s.
  • With over 300 product lines – the ability to focus on the key deliverables and not be thrown by complexity.
  • Experience of managing a small team.
  • Calm headed, thorough working, with the ability to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Get sleeves rolled up.
  • Has on-time attitude.

  • Experience of UK and USA marketing environments
  • Sales experience / direct working with sales teams
  • Working knowledge of UMBRACO
  • Salesforce knowledge (or similar CRM)
  • Medical / Tradeshow / Exhibition experience would be a benefit
