Systems Support Executive

The Systems Support Executive has a varied role and is responsible for supporting, planning, coordinating, and maintaining all business systems activities within the Company. 

You will work closely with the Business Systems Manager in the development and upgrading of the Company’s business systems and everything that this entails including training staff and problem solving. 

An important aspect of this role is improving and developing the Company’s processes and methods of working and how they relate to the business systems. 

You will be part of the IT team, providing support in the delivery of IT projects and initiatives and undertaking data analysis for the Finance Manager, Managing Director and to the wider business.  The Systems Support Executive will help to determine the Company’s business systems goals and follow through in delivering them.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience working in a Systems Application role, ideally in a SME, manufacturing environment, with suitable qualifications in Information Technology or a graduate with equivalent experience.

You will have a good technical understanding of the Systems business process and technical landscape, with business analysis and project management skills, you will have strong trouble shooting skills and enjoy solving problems.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel with experience in Excel modelling.

You are a good communicator, verbally and in writing with the ability and confidence to build relationships and communicate at all levels of the business.

IT Support experience, experience of SQL, SSRS and C# coding, and/or Understanding of ERP or MRP systems are desirable but not essential.
