This pediatric trainer comes complete with equipment to run training for infant examinations. Included are items of clothing for accurate patient handling, and a controller that can adjust the baby's vital signs.
What practical skills can be taught on this pediatric manikin?
A range of practical skills can be practiced, including:
- Measurement of respirations, heart rate, body temperature and blood pressure
- Auscultation of heart, breath and bowel sounds
- Palpation of the greater fontanel
- Observation of the nasal, ear and oral cavities, as well as observation of the eyelids
