SurgTrac Software

SurgTrac is an integrated skills training platform for surgeons, by surgeons. Designed to mirror Kolb's experiential learning circle. SurgTrac offers a curriculum of skills, instrument tracking software, objective performance feedback and metrics synced to the online portfolio.

Curriculum

Consists of 18 modules, broken down into 3 tiers with increasing difficulty , objectives and outcomes.

Core curriculum consists of:

• Precision cutting
• Thread transfer
• Paper clip untangle
• Dice stacking
• Paper fold
• Peg capping

Advanced curriculum consists of:

• Paper peg thread
• Peg ligate
• Tube thread
• Tube ligation
• Thread pull
• Cyst dissection

Elite curriculum consists of:

• Slip knot and patch
• Anastomosis (interrupted)
• Horizontal suture
• Intracorporeal suture and tie
• Anastomosis (continuous)
• Precision suture

Instrument tracking

The SurgTrac software collects instrument data during practice sessions to collate performance metrics to highlight areas for improvement.

As part of this analysis, users can opt-in to the TopScalpel global online leaderboard to compare with other SurgTrac users around the world.

USER LICENSES

SurgTrac software licenses are available to purchase in multiples of 5. Simply add to your quote and enter the number of users you need into the quantity box. (Note: If your request is not a multiple of 5, your quote will be rounded up to the nearest value, this can be amended if needed.)
