TruCorp’s new trauma simulation manikin, TruJunctional, replicates massive haemorrhage scenarios affecting the lower torso in emergency and combat situations.
TruJunctional simulates multiple acute traumatic wounds, enabling training in tourniquet placement, pelvic binding, wound packing, and junctional haemorrhage control.
Dual Programmable Wounds & Training Modes
Control the realistic bleeding using the dual programmable wounds. Set up different scenarios for students to identify, treat, and stem the blood flow, in individual or team-based training. Allowing for single injury treatment, or combinations, for more dynamic and flexible training.
The control panel at the top of the torso operates the active bleed sites. Not on general view to the students, it is possible to set up TruJunctional for blind training to boost diagnostic and wound management skills.

Left leg bleeding – Stab wound to the mid-thigh for tourniquet and junctional tourniquet application and wound packing.
Right leg bleeding – Gunshot wound exiting the top of the leg for junctional tourniquet and wound packing.
Training to Support Emergency Procedures
Haemorrhage is the main cause of preventable deaths in combat situations. Traumatic wound care and tourniquet application training has been shown to improve the skills and accuracy of medical professionals. (See Skills: Evidence.) TruJunctional is ideal for Military Medics, Paramedics, EMTs, trauma and emergency physicians, and nurses.
Compatible with major trauma care devices, for realistic training sessions, such as:
- Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT)
- SAM Junctional Tourniquet
- Junctional Emergency Treatment Tool (JETT)
- Pelvic Binders
